PokéStore paid in $POKEMON · 40% burned · 60% to the prize pool

    Season prize pool

    —

    Hall of fame all time

      Docs

How the arena works — and how every $POKEMON spent in it leaves the supply for good.

      Burn mechanics

The PokéStore has no revenue. 40% of what players spend is destroyed on-chain by the arena vault and the other 60% goes straight into the season prize pool paid to the top 3 — nobody, including the team, receives any of it.

      Full burn log ↗
Burned by the PokéStore—$POKEMON destroyed so far
Queued for the next burn—batched about once a minute
      Burn transactions—each one linked below
Gone from supply since launch—incl. creator-fee burns · supply now —
      1. You buy an item. The price is debited from your arena balance in $POKEMON. Guests can't shop — sign in and deposit first.
      2. It is split on the spot. 60% is credited to the season prize pool immediately; 40% joins the burn queue, where purchases are grouped so one transaction can burn many buys. The queued amount is shown live above.
      3. The vault burns it. Within about a minute the vault wallet signs a Token-2022 BurnChecked: the tokens are destroyed and the mint's supply drops by exactly that amount. Nothing is transferred anywhere.
      4. The proof is public. The signature is recorded and linked here, in the Season panel and at /api/burns. If a burn fails (RPC hiccup) it stays queued and retries — nothing is lost.

      Recent burns

No burns yet — the first PokéStore purchase starts the log.

      Check it yourself

Open any signature on Solscan: one BurnChecked instruction, tokens leave the vault's token account, no account receives them, and the supply falls. To audit every burn at once run node scripts/verify-burn.js --site https://www.pokemoncto.com from the open-source repo.

      Reserves: checking…

Balances are never invented: one is created only when a finalized deposit of $POKEMON lands on your own arena address. Wins and prizes just move balance between players.

      Vault wallet: —

      1 · Enter

Pick a starter — Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle or Pikachu — a trainer name and a cap colour. You can play as a guest; sign in (Account panel) to keep your party, bag, points and balance.

      2 · Move

WASD or arrows on desktop, the D-pad on phones. Everyone on this page is in the same world — you'll see other trainers walking around, and your active Pokémon follows you.

      3 · Catch

Wild Pokémon hide in tall grass. Step onto one, then stop the moving marker in the green zone — gold is a perfect throw. You get three throws; Great and Ultra Balls from the store raise your odds. 1 in 32 spawns is shiny (×3 points); legendaries are announced to everyone. Your party holds six — tap one in the Party panel to make it active. Catch a seventh and you choose which one goes back into the wild (the new catch included); nothing is removed for you. Every Pokémon you meet — in the grass or across the field — is logged in your Pokédex (sidebar), and catching it fills the entry in.

      4 · Battle

Walk next to a trainer and press Space (or Battle in the Nearby panel). Battles are turn-based, 25 seconds per turn: choose one of four moves or open the Bag — Potions heal, X Attack / X Defend buff you for three turns, and using an item takes your turn. The full type chart applies (water beats fire, ghost ignores normal, and so on). When your Pokémon faints the next healthy one in your party is sent out automatically — you only lose when your whole party is down. Switch at any time from the Party tab (it uses your turn, and the newcomer takes that turn's hit). Winner +25 points, loser +5. Forfeiting or disconnecting counts as a loss.

Damage sticks. HP does not come back between battles. Heal with Potions — from the Bag (Use) between battles or mid-fight — or with the Rest move, which fully heals but leaves the Pokémon asleep for two turns. A fainted Pokémon can't battle until it is healed, and a trainer whose whole party has fainted can't start one.

      5 · Level up & evolve

Your level is 1 + catches÷2 + wins÷2 and raises HP and damage. Starters evolve at Lv 4 and Lv 8, Pikachu at Lv 6, Magikarp at Lv 5, Eevee at Lv 5 into a random Eeveelution.

      6 · PokéStore

Potions, X items and balls are sold for $POKEMON from your arena balance (sign in and deposit first). 40% of what you spend is burned on-chain by the vault and 60% goes into the season prize pool — every purchase shrinks the supply and fattens the pot; the team keeps nothing. Prices: Potion 500, Super Potion 1,200, Hyper Potion 2,800, Full Restore 5,000, X Attack / X Defend 1,800, Great Ball 1,000, Ultra Ball 2,500.

      7 · Accounts

Continue with X (your X account becomes your smart wallet — nothing to remember), connect a wallet (Phantom / Solflare signs a message — no transaction, no fee), or create a smart wallet with a username + passphrase. A smart wallet is an account that lives inside the arena with its own deposit address, for players without a browser wallet. Either way your progress resumes when you come back. One live session per account: signing in from another tab or device closes the older one.

      8 · Staking $POKEMON

Signed in with a balance? Type a stake next to a nearby trainer's Battle button, or accept theirs. Both stakes are locked when the battle starts; the winner takes the pot minus a 4% fee. Stakes run from 1,000 to 5,000,000. Forfeit or disconnect loses your stake. Only stake what you can afford to lose — battles have luck in them.

      9 · Season prize pool

75% of every battle fee and 60% of every PokéStore purchase go into the pool. Every 24 hours it pays the season's top 3 by points — 50 / 30 / 20 % — and points reset. Catching, winning and staking all count. The rest of the fee stays in the vault as treasury; it is the only $POKEMON the arena keeps.

      10 · Deposit & withdraw

Deposit: send $POKEMON to your personal arena address (Account → Deposit) from any wallet or exchange, or let the site build the transfer for your wallet to sign. Credited once the transaction is finalized on Solana (about a minute) — a balance can only ever come from a real deposit. Withdraw to any Solana address: minimum 1,000, up to 2,000,000 per day. Balances are held by the arena vault, not by a third party.

Chat: Enter · Rematch: press Space near the same trainer · Run from an encounter with B / Run. The How to play button inside the arena opens these same docs as a panel.
